Cancellation and consumer rights
Cancellation information
Normal subscription cancellation
Log in, open Dashboard, choose Billing, then choose Cancel plan. No phone call, physical letter, support ticket or mandatory retention survey is required.
Normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. The exact access end date is displayed after cancellation. You can resume the subscription online before that date while the subscription remains eligible.
What happens to the seller page
The public page remains available through the paid period. After access ends, seller content can be temporarily unavailable and removed from the sitemap. Content, images, slug and the published snapshot are preserved for eligible reactivation. Reactivation can restore the existing page automatically.
Refunds and cancellation are different
Cancelling renewal does not by itself refund the current paid period. Refunds, payment disputes and statutory consumer withdrawal rights are handled separately and are subject to the law that applies to the transaction.
Consumer statutory withdrawal
If you subscribed mainly as a consumer for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession, distance-selling law may give you a withdrawal period, commonly 14 days from conclusion of a service contract in the UK and EU. You normally do not need to give a reason.
Consumer signup asks for an express request to start Look We're Live immediately. If you withdraw after performance has started, applicable law may allow a proportionate charge for the service supplied before withdrawal. Mandatory consumer rights are not reduced by this page.
You can also exercise an applicable withdrawal right by sending a clear statement to Configure LEGAL_SUPPORT_EMAIL before enabling live payments.. Include enough information to identify the subscription, such as your name, account email and, if available, Stripe subscription or invoice reference.
Model withdrawal wording
You may copy the following wording if useful: “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the Look We're Live subscription. Account name: [name]. Account email: [email]. Contract/order date: [date].” A clear statement is sufficient where the statutory right applies; you do not have to use this exact wording.
Business subscriptions
Statutory consumer cooling-off rights generally do not apply where the subscription is mainly for trade, business, craft or professional purposes. Business customers can still use normal online cancellation and any contractual refund rights expressly offered by Look We're Live.
